InsideOut Parent Cue ~ October 5-11

Last night we looked at Hebrews 11:8-10 where it speaks of Abraham and his obedience and faith in following God. “By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. By faith he made his home in the promised land, like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. Changing everything about your life and the way you live can be scary. Sometimes God calls people to leave behind what they know to be a stranger in a foreign country.

Take the time to talk to your kids about these questions:

1. How would you react if you couldn’t speak to the people around you?

2. Why do you think God says we shouldn’t always be “comfortable” in our lives?

3. Where would be one of the hardest places for you to live and do missions? Why?
