You won't want to miss out on this special interactive family experience. At Brave Cave, kids will explore fun caves—and different fears we experience, large and small. Through hands-on experiences they’ll learn that even when we’re afraid, we can trust God. The whole community is invited, so grab your friends, wear your costumes, and head up to Southland to discover some yummy, slimy, silly, exciting, and free fun! Here are the caves that families will explore:
• Cave of Darkness where they’ll crawl through a dark tunnel “cave” and discover that God can help us through the twists and turns of life, even when things seem dark.
• Cave of Mysteries where they’ll uncover hidden jewels as they learn that although there are lots of unknowns, with God’s help those unknowns are less scary—and nothing is unknown to him.
• Wild Weather Cave where they’ll learn about wild weather and how they can trust God to protect them even in the midst of stormy weather.
• Danger Cave where they’ll learn about real dangers to avoid and discover that God and the Bible help us stay on track even in crazy times.
• Slimy Cave where kids think about the funny or silly fears they have, like touching something slimy or eating something new!
• Grub Cave where they’ll try some tasty, cave-themed treats.
• The Empty Cave where families hear the Gospel message and learn that every time we’re afraid is an opportunity to trust God—just like Jesus did.
• Cub Cave where preschoolers have their own age-appropriate fun to learn about trusting God.
