Summer is here!

With a few weeks left of school, Summer is upon us! There is so much to look forward to with VBS, and Camp approaching! We are still looking for more volunteers for Summer Sunday School, VBS, and K-2 Day Camp! If you are interested in helping, please contact me at janet@southlandbaptist.org, or 949-9633. There are multiple things you can help with whether you are comfortable teaching, or would prefer more of an assistant role.

As we look towards the Summer, we are also already making plans and changes for the Fall. We have some wonderful children's Sunday School teachers that are retiring this year, so we will be looking for some fresh faces! If you are interested in teaching SS, please contact me about what positions will be available! We will also be conducting a curriculum review this Summer, so the sooner we can have people in place, the better! Everyone's opinion matters!

I am planning at least one clean up day this summer that I need volunteers for. The idea is that we can clean, organize, throw out, paint, decorate, and basically make our children's/preschool areas a more enjoyable environment! More information will be coming on that soon! As always, I am thankful for the many volunteers we have in the children's ministry. We cannot do the exceptional things we do, without y'all!
