Not only are we happy to have parents involved in our children's ministry here at Southland Baptist Church, we need them! We know that you are a pivotal part of your kids' lives and we are ready to plug you in. From the smallest roles, to the largest, there is a place that you can be sure will be just right for you. Whether leading a small group or baking cookies, we are thrilled to have you apart of the exciting things going on in our ministry. There are numerous ways to get involved from Sunday School, Wednesday night activities, Fellowships, and more!
* Some of our weekly activities include:
Sunday School - 9:30am Sunday Mornings. We are always looking for teachers, helpers, and substitutes.
InsideOut - 5:45pm Wednesday Night (Starting again Sept. 1). This is a time of worship, skits, puppet shows, Bible stories, games, crafts, and small groups. Whether you feel comfortable being a leader, or just part of a group we would love for you to be apart of our high energy Wednesday night program starting back up in the Fall.
* Currently we are looking for help with:
Playground Committee - In the coming month we will be putting together a committee to talk about playground regulations and safety violations. We will evaluate our current structures and work towards planning and budgeting for new equipment.

*ALL volunteers working with minors (babies-18 years of age) are required to attend our Reducing the Risk Training before being involved. Our next Training sessions will be offered Sunday, August 22nd at 9:30am in room #222. Please contact me if you cannot attend one of these training sessions and need to set up an additional time.
